A recursive descent parser for a subset of SQL — SELECT, FROM, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY. Written in Python without any parser libraries.
Built to understand how databases parse queries before planning and executing them. Produces an abstract syntax tree that could be handed off to a query planner.
